What you will be doing

As an Azure Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions leveraging Azure services, with a specific focus on utilizing Purview for data governance and ensuring robust and secure network infrastructure.

Additionally, in this role you can expect to:

Design and implement highly scalable and secure cloud solutions on Azure, adhering to best practices and industry standardsImplement and manage Purview for data governance, including data classification, lineage tracking, and access controlConfigure and manage Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, firewalls, and other network security solutionsImplement and configure Azure Storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake StorageConfigure and manage Azure compute resources like, Azure App Service, and Azure FunctionsAutomate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform

You will collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, and other IT professionals to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimal performance of cloud deployments.

What we scout for

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with most of the following:

Educational degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field, and related accreditations would be a plus+5 years of experience in designing and managing cloud solutions on Azure, with a focus on data governancePrevious exposure to Azure Data Lake, Purview, Automation of Data Pipelines, Azure Resource Manager, and other Azure-related integrationsStrong technical skills in Python and SQLAbility to stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure services and technologies
