Are you a software architect or an experienced software developer? Would you like to help set the direction for software development, including reuse, architecture, and object-oriented design? We have an exciting job ready for you at BITZER Electronics, where you will work in a top-notch team across the organization.
We are busy with several exciting development tasks that we need your help with. You will become part of a 15-person cross-organizational team that coordinates initiatives within development. That is, both the methods we use, the tools, and of course architecture/design and implementation of the code.

As an architect in various teams, you are expected to actively contribute in all phases of the product development process. You will be responsible for the software architecture in the products - from requirement specification to design and development. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal reuse and maintenance of the existing platform.

We develop all new firmware in C and C++, and we typically design and document in 3+1 views UML with the aim that it can be used in different products.

We imagine that you have:


• A relevant master's degree with a focus on software, e.g., engineer or computer scientist.


• At least 5 years of experience with software development, preferably at the architect level.


• Experience with all phases of software development, including specification.


• Experience with tools such as DevOps, Git, and Cmake.


• Experience with development in C and C++.


• Some familiarity with agile methods such as scrum, kanban, etc.


• Good command of English in writing and speaking.

As a person, you are open, communicative, and dialogue-creating, and you preferably have experience facilitating processes. You have a structured approach to your tasks and manage with your sharp and analytical sense to think strategically and preferably out of the box.

You naturally take responsibility in the role as a cross-disciplinary focal point and have a diplomatic approach to cooperation with others. In dialogue with the team, you manage to pave the way for the right solutions and are robust and persistent about your projects reaching the goal, despite the challenges you encounter along the way.
