About the position

This is a unique opportunity as our first dedicated Finance Manager in charge of raising the bar and professionalizing our financial controlling, processes, and systems as we scale. You will report directly to our CEO and work closely with our Strategy Office and senior management team to ensure our continued growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Develop and execute financial strategies and OKRs aligned with the company's goals.
Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities and minimize risk.
Oversee cash flow, investments, and asset management.
Ensure compliance with regional accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
Serve as a key point of contact for external accounting, auditors, and financial institutions.
Lead cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive interdepartmental efficiencies.
Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team as we grow (initially a student assistant)

We're in search of a talented individual with experience from a modern financial function in a fast-paced environment. You should have a deep understanding of financial processes and controlling principles. Moreover, you couple leadership skills with a growth mindset and a fervent dedication to maintaining meticulous financial practices.

To be considered a highly attractive candidate for this role, you likely possess most of the following traits:

A master's degree in finance, economics or similar (Cand. Merc. (Fir, Fsm, Aef, Asc), Cand. Polit., Cand. Oecon.).
At least 5 years of post-graduate professional experience with financial controlling in a medium-to-large international company.
Experience with people management is a plus.
Strong communication skills in English (Danish is a plus).
Mastery of Excel and dominant financial/ERP-systems.
Highly analytical and structured problem solver who is unafraid to question and improve current ways of working and thinking.
Preferably experience with and curiosity for robotics and automations within finance.
