About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled Tech Lead with Senior Developer capabilities, to join our Platform Excellence team in Copenhagen, reporting to the Engineering Team Lead. You will be part of a vibrant and supportive team that fosters an informal atmosphere.
In this role you will get the chance to make impactful decisions, own the architecture and technical strategy of some of our Business-Critical services, and ensure alignment with our engineering strategy. You must ensure that technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for the team are in line with our programming frameworks and overall design principles. Therefore, working hands-on with development tasks is also expected to get up to date with the state of the codebase and the application.
What you will be doing
- Set the technical strategy of the system
- Mentor and coach Software Engineers
- Effectively clear technical roadblocks and manage technical debt
- Own, drive, and estimate product roadmap and the technical backlog
- Improve ways of working by sharing and implementing new ideas
- Discuss, support and make critical design decisions
- Cross-collaboration with other teams within the Engineering department
What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have 5+ years' experience from a similar role as a Tech Lead together with several years' experience as a Software Developer prior to the Tech Lead role. Financial domain knowledge is seen as an advantage.
You have extensive knowledge of and experience working with C#, CI/CD practices and APIs hosted in Azure.
As a person, you are able to communicate in an honest and respectful manner both verbally and in writing. You have the ability to work in an agile and quality-focused environment, while still being pragmatic. You work in a structured way and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are a team player and have an open and collaborative attitude.
As Banking Circle is an international company it ́s a requirement, that you are fluent in English.
