Danmark skal bemande stillingen som Plans/Operations Officer (PLANS/OPSO) ved United Nations Command Military Armistice Commission-Secretariat (UNCMAC-S) i Sydkorea. UNCMAC-S er en integreret del af United Nations Command (UNC).

Om Missionen
Missionens hovedkvarter er placeret på Camp Humphreys, den største amerikanske base i Asien, ca. 70 km syd for Seoul. UNC er en amerikansk ledet koalition, oprettet i 1950 for, på et FN-mandat, at forsvare Sydkorea mod den nordkoreanske aggression. I forbindelse med våbenhvilen i 1953 ændredes UNC opgave til at bevare våbenhvilen og forberede indsættelse af internationale styrkebidrag skulle våbenhvilen bryde sammen. I 1978 etablerede USA og Sydkorea Combined Forces Command (CFC), en fælles kommando under amerikansk ledelse. CFC er øverste operative hovedkvarter for de ca amerikanske og sydkoreanske soldater i Sydkorea. UNC rolle er at generere og integrere internationale styrkebidrag til CFC. Endvidere fortsat at bevare våbenhvileaftalen fra 1953, primært via United Nations Command Military Armistice Commission (UNCMAC). Danmark har bidraget til UNCMAC med to officerer siden 2009 og til UNC med en officer siden 2019.

Under udsendelsen vil du få en masse spændende oplevelser, som er forbundet med det at være udsendt til et andet land. Din arbejdsdag vil være fyldt med udfordrende opgaver i et multinationalt miljø, som bibringer dig nye kompetencer og erfaringer, som giver dig et solidt rygstød i forhold til din videre karriere.
Som Plans/Operations Officer vil du være en bærende kraft i operationssektionen i UNCMAC-S.
Opgaverne er omfattende, men alle relateret til våbenhvileaftalen (Armistice Agreement) fra 1953. Den primære opgave er at sikre at de over soldater, fordelt på tolv divisioner, som er indsat i og omkring den demilitariserede zone overholder de aftaler der er blevet indgået mellem parterne. Det sker gennem en række opgaver. Herunder planlægning, tilrettelæggelse og gennemførelse af inspektioner ved de sydkoreanske militære enheder der opholder sig i området samt anden kontrolvirksomhed. Rapportering er en væsentlig del af opgaven.
Om dig
Du har godt kendskab til militære operationer generelt og forståelse for værnsfælles doktrin på taktisk og operativt niveau.
Du er major/kaptajn og har gennemført Videreuddannelsestrin I for militære ledere VUT/L eller VUK. Det er ønskeligt, at du har erfaring fra operativ stabstjeneste, og gerne i en multinational stab.
Vi ser gerne, at du tillige har stabserfaring fra minimum NIV II, så du med udgangspunkt i ledelseserfaringen og stabstjenesten har en solid evne og kompetence til at formidle dine analyser og budskaber. Du er en velbedømt officer, og har erfaring fra én eller flere udsendelser i Internationale operationer.
Du er god til at skabe samarbejdsrelationer i forskellige fora, du trives godt i et multinationalt miljø, og så har du respekt for de kulturelle forskelle.
Du har særdeles gode engelskkundskaber både mundtligt og skriftligt
Der lægges vægt på, at du er selvstændig, robust og har et godt overblik. Du fremstår troværdigt, og har let ved at agere på egen hånd.
Ansættelsesvilkår
Stillingen er indplaceret i løngruppe 4, som omfatter kaptajner og kaptajnløjtnanter fra alle værn.
Stillingen besættes for en periode på 12 måneder forventeligt fra ultimo maj 2025 – primo juni 2026. Militært ansatte returnerer som udgangspunkt til den stilling, de forlod inden udsendelsen.
Du vil blive udsendt under "Forsvarets Bestemmelse om løn, tillæg og ydelser for personel udsendt i international tjeneste" (FPSBST 564-1), hvilket bl.a. vil omfatte FN-tillæg (skattepligtigt), Udetillægslignende tillæg (skattefrit). Dertil kommer de ydelser, som Forsvaret udbetaler til dig i missionen til dækning af indkvartering og forplejning.
Via Forsvarets HR-portal på FIIN kan du finde FPSBST 564-1, som omhandler forhold under din udsendelse.
Der er ikke tale om en "familiemission", hvorfor det ikke vil være muligt at medtage evt. familie i udsendelsesperioden, ud over besøg i forbindelse med leave o.l.
Du skal være sikkerhedsgodkendt til Hemmeligt, samt kunne opretholde denne under hele udsendelsen.
Du skal have bestået Forsvarets basistest og kunne helbredsgodkendes til status operativ (helbred og tænder).
Inden udsendelsen gennemføres følgende kurser:
• Enkeltmandsforberedelse Modul 1 og 2 (2 uger)
Under udsendelsen vil du blive tillagt midlertidig grad af major/orlogskaptajn.
Ansøgning kræver en påtegning fra nærmeste leder/chef. For reservepersonels vedkommende skal påtegningen indeholde en accept af, at afgivende myndighed betaler for indkommanderinger forud for udsendelsen, f.eks. i forbindelse med missionsuddannelser, samt at afgivende myndighed foranstalter indgåelse af tidsbestemt kontrakt i f.m. udsendelsen.
