We are looking for a curious intern that will join our team and get insights into how we work with supporting our operations and drive continuous improvement in our quality systems. This is your chance to try out what it means to work at Arla Foods Ingredients largest production site, Denmark Protein. Here you will meet approx. 650 colleagues. We are founded on a sustainability mindset and have successfully managed to turn whey, a former waste product, into new nutritional and functional ingredients for human consumption.

How will you make an impact

Our Quality Assurance Specialists collaborates with internal stakeholders, such as production, laboratory, and QA colleagues, on quality improvement projects in operations, oversees product releases, and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality while structuring problem-solving processes to address issues effectively.

Our Quality Management system team actively enhances compliance on key elements of our quality system, including water, food contact material, and surveillance and monitoring systems, while contributing to data analysis for quality reviews both internally and externally. Additionally, they ensure proper change control, handle deviations, and optimize document systems to streamline processes. Our Environment, Health and Safety team focuses on improvement of our site contingency plans incl. emergency plans and crisis management.

How will you be successful?

We are looking for an ambitious and curious intern to join our team. In this position you will need to bring an analytical mindset and a methodical approach to problem solving. Tasks and projects might change based on priorities. Therefore, it's key that you are adaptable to change and open to be a part of different projects. Interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are key to succeed, as you will be engaging with people across teams and departments.

But most important of all, if you show up with a smile, your can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.. Then you are of to a good start

What do we offer?

From your very first day you will be integrated into our teams and play a role in various projects and processes. You will a get broad insight into how our different teams work with a various tasks with the field of QEHS. It's our key priority to give you a great learning experience, where we focus on developing your competencies and understanding of what it means to be a part of the QEHS function in a market leading company.

However, we expect you to bring an open mindset and be flexible when it comes to projects and tasks. If the areas below are relevant for your field of study and interesting to you, then we will do our best to strike a good balance between your personal wishes, formal study requirements, and our expectations and priorities.

The internship will take place in autumn of 2024. Starting in August/September
