Your position

As Quality Specialist in our HSEQ department, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Quality team, working together to ensure the quality performance within our organisation and offshore operations across the world. You will act as a key sparring partner for both project management and our clients in improving the quality performance for tenders, projects, and audits.

Your primary place of work will be at our Global HQ in Esbjerg by the seafront, with one of the best views in the city. The position is full-time, and we offer flexible working conditions with the possibility of working from home two days a week. In addition, you should expect 20-30 travel days per year to, for instance, the US or the far East.

Your tasks & responsibilities
You will play a central role in improving the quality performance within Semco and within project execution. Furthermore, you will be contributing to the implementation of the internal HSEQ strategy plans. Your responsibility will also be to ensure quality support in tenders and projects.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

Creating project quality plans, inspection- and test-plans, project specific audit programmes and other project relevant documents.Drive quality in projects.Creating proactive action plans for improvements on basis of dataAssist in data collecting, from NC reporting.Ensuring compliance to contracts in projectsSupporting procurement in supplier assessment and evaluationExecuting internal audits and supplier auditsContributing to trend analysis from reporting systemYour profile & qualifications
As a person, you possess a proactive and curious mindset, with a systematic and structured approach to your work. You take ownership of your tasks and have an open-minded attitude to create the best results. You have great communication skills and enjoy building relations with people.

To succeed in the position, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

Preferably a technical background (Electrical or Mechanical)Experience with ISO, EN etc from a technical point of view.5+ years of experience in the execution of quality activitiesQuality experience from similar projects or industriesKnowledge of legal requirementsFamiliar with HSEQ disciplinesKnowledge of or experience with ISO or ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is beneficialExperience from the renewable sector would be considered an advantage.Welcome to Semco Maritime
