The Centre for Quantum Mathematics (QM) at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) invites applications for a 2-year position as Postdoctoral Fellow with expertise in the field of generalized categorical symmetries and other exotic symmetries such as subsystem and dipole symmetries. In particular, in the applications of these symmetries to quantum lattice models.
The targeted starting date of the position is 1 November, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The QM centre is located at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Natural Sciences on the international campus in Odense, Denmark. Job description / requirements
A successful candidate will drive internationally competitive research, collaborate with the world community in the field. The candidate is expected to contribute to QM's excellent research and teaching environment. The candidate must have a PhD degree in mathematical physics or theoretical physics.
The candidate must further have an emerging research track in the field. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate, who work and communicate well in an international team. The candidate must be able to carry out independent and rigorous work at top international level.
