Interpreter (English-Danish)
Location: Esbjerg, Denmark
We are seeking a skilled English-Danish Interpreter to join our team in Esbjerg, Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English and Danish speakers in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and interviews. You will need to have a strong understanding of both languages and be able to accurately convey the meaning and tone of the conversation.
Responsibilities
- Interpret spoken communication from English to Danish and vice versa
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality in all interpretations
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all interpretations
- Familiarize yourself with relevant terminology in both languages
- Provide support for meetings, conferences, interviews, and other events as needed
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines for interpretation
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in both English and Danish
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening
- Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both languages
- Ability to quickly analyze information and make accurate interpretations
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings or weekends if needed
Salary: The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
Location: This position is based in Esbjerg, Denmark. Relocation assistance is not provided.
