About the role

As Business Finance Analyst, you will be part of the City Container team and also the finance team in Reconor Group, helping to navigate the business towards great results while also getting support and opportunities from a larger Group Finance organisation. This role will be at the crossroads between finance and data management and implementation, potentially suiting a finance profile skilled at managing data and having a solid business acumen. The business finance analyst is instrumental in creating coherence between business improvement and insights at City Container and financial processes across Reconor.

Responsibilities

As Business Finance Analyst, you will contribute to a further professionalization of business processes and performance tracking by helping to provide transparency in and follow up on performance, targets, and KPIs in City Container. Your primary responsibilities are:

• Collaborate with the City Container Management Team to help them achieve a strong performance uplift for the company, reach their goals, and enable data as core to the business/decisions while also providing sparring regarding financial and business challenges.
• Scope will include operational, commercial, and business data, not limited to financials.
• Active member of the Reconor finance team, helping to provide insights and alignment with overall Group priorities and reporting principles.
• Initiate and set the framework for profitability and cost analyses in connection with the various and changing needs of the business.
• Conduct profitability analysis to identify areas of potential cost savings or revenue improvements.
• Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and assess business performance across various areas.
• Involvement in Reconor Group projects and initiatives on an ad hoc basis.
• Implement internal control procedures to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Expected experiences

Your professional qualifications include two years of experience working within finance or related data-heavy departments for a Danish company:

• Demonstrable experience with building models, tools, and reports that have been used to drive improvements in the business.
• Solid understanding of finance combined with skills in managing and using data (source, extracted, BI) and a relevant master's degree (e.g., cand.merc.aud or cand.merc.fir).
• Takes responsibility for tasks and creates progress on projects.
• Communicates at eye level and is driven to find and then implement good solutions.
• A team player who also thrives on independent work.
• Systematic and structured in the approach to task solutions.

Your other skills include:

• International or Nordic experience, with a multi-cultural awareness.
• Strong skills in MS Office applications.
• Analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to translate concepts into actions.
• Fluent in English and Danish in writing and speaking.
• B.Sc. (HD) or M.Sc. in Accounting or Finance or more technical/data-specific studies.
