Our bakery in Herning, Denmark is seeking a talented and experienced Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake various breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter
- Roll, cut, or shape dough to form different types of breads or pastries
- Decorate cakes and pastries with icings and toppings according to customer requests
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Clean work areas and equipment to maintain sanitation standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Baker in a bakery or pastry shop setting
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods
- Ability to read recipes and convert measurements as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work quickly but efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills to ensure timely delivery of products
Salary
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
