The position

In this role, you will organisationally be part of a team of 11 colleagues, consisting of project managers, project associates, process specialists and system experts. The team is in charge of driving adoption to our procurement systems, continuous optimisations in sourcing, contracting and business partnering on a global level.

Your core responsibilities will be to partner up with our Direct Sourcing colleagues in the unit called Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices (GSOD). The key focus will be on fostering a digital sourcing mindset rooted in best practice, optimizing the current sourcing processes, and executing the digital sourcing processes. You should expect to spend working days with the GSOD colleagues.

You will be working on digital sourcing activities including:

• Driving digitalisation and process improvement, with a focus on identifying and addressing sourcing issues and opportunities, as well as designing and implementing effective solutions that bring value to the category management colleagues.
• Change management activities to drive utilisation and adoption of digital sourcing technology.
• Business partnering to the organisation to ensure a close link between business needs and digital opportunities to drive world-class sourcing.
• Providing input to and driving future innovation of our digital sourcing process.

You will be based in both Høje Tåstrup and Bagsværd, Denmark, given the nature of the role supporting GSOD while organisationally being part of Corporate Procurement. Limited travel activities are expected.

Qualifications

At Novo Nordisk we appreciate that no two individuals share the same experience, but if the below points sound like a match, then we would love to hear from you. The ideal person will bring the following:

• A relevant master's background related to process optimisation, digitalisation, business administration, IT administration or the like, with excellent results.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading digitalisation and sourcing process optimisation – ideally in systems like Coupa or SAP Ariba. Other system experiences are also welcomed.
• Experienced in using data to drive recommendations to achieve desired results.
• Experience with advanced sourcing technologies and strategies.
• Fluency in English.
