The Position

As a Senior Finance Partner in PS, Q & IT Business Finance, your primary role will be to support decision-making across Product Supply. The role is positioned high in the organisation, and you will play an important role in linking corporate strategy with financial resource allocation across Novo Nordisk's global production sites.

Your tasks include:

  • Support the Product Supply organization with financial advice (e.g. resource allocation, business cases etc.)
  • Create decision and business review material for senior stakeholders
  • Create transparency into financial details and bring this to a holistic perspective
  • Act as a bridge between PSQIT finance and corporate finance
  • Challenge status quo in production areas while also acting as a trusted sparring partner
  • Optimize finance- and data processes to improve fact-based decision-making and increase transparency across PS, Q & IT

The job offers frequent senior management interaction and engagement with stakeholders across the organization, allowing you to build a strong network while driving activities and projects related to the production sites globally. Qualifications

To be considered for the position, we expect that you:

  • Hold a master's degree as a minimum and +5 years of experience within business finance, accounting, strategy consulting or similar
  • Have a solid understanding of financial processes
  • Possess strong business acumen and are curious by nature. Understanding the business is a key requirement to succeed in this role
  • Communicate complex business information in a simple and concise way
  • Have profound abilities in PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of SAP and BI tools such as Tableau is considered a plus
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English as it is the corporate language

As a person, you are proactive, have a drive to succeed, and the ability to work independently and in teams. Also, you see yourself as an executor who gets the job done on time without compromising the quality of your deliverables.

About The Department

Product Supply, Quality & IT (PS, Q & IT) is the largest organizational unit in Novo Nordisk with more than 20,000 employees globally across five continents. The area is responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products and the quality assurance of all Novo Nordisk activities.

You will be part of the Business Finance team residing in the PS, Q & IT Finance department. The department consists of around 35-40 people from ~15 countries with diverse backgrounds. Located in our Bagsværd headquarters, the department acts as a center of excellence in financial planning, production accounting, investments, and compliance for Novo Nordisk globally. The team is characterized by openness, dedication, a strong focus on well-being, and highly engaged colleagues who work dedicated towards helping us change lives for the benefit of our patients worldwide.
