We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing (Maternity Cover approx 11-months) to ensure continuity and leadership of the marketing team during this critical period.
This position demands a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution to maintain the department's high performance and momentum.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring seamless execution of the marketing strategy, and delivering on our brand and business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Engagement:- Provide clear leadership and inspire a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster an engaged, collaborative, and motivated work environment.
- Manage resource planning, including recruitment of employees and freelancers, as needed.
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with the corporate and brand vision.
- Create, communicate and maintain the yearly marketing activity plan and communication calendar in line with the commercial plan, supporting both B2B and D2C channels.
- Drive forward trade and commercial focuses with your team, oversee monthly channel pushes and foster a commercial mindset amongst channel owners.
- Ensure the transformation of the marketing team to a fully omni-channel setup, driving cross-functional teamwork and integration.
- Bring the brand's creative vision to life through high-quality, impactful content and communication.
- Ensure consistency in brand identity across platforms and touchpoints.
- Facilitate creative processes that align marketing activations with the brand's commercial calendar.
- Collaborate closely with OMNI merchandising to create effective marketing briefs for creative and digital teams.
- Partner with B2B sales teams to design and implement trade marketing activations.
- Translate strategic insights into actionable marketing initiatives, enhancing both B2B and D2C sales.
- Optimize marketing team processes to ensure structure, sustainability, and efficiency.
- Lead the transformation toward a more activation-driven marketing approach.
- Oversee the creation and development of sales materials for B2B and B2C channels.
- Strategically manage and oversee the marketing budget in collaboration with the Head of Ecommerce.
- Ensure the budget supports key growth initiatives and aligns with overarching corporate goals.
- Drive initiatives that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and long-term business success.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Expertise in omni-channel marketing, with knowledge of both B2B and D2C dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and developing strategies that drive brand and commercial growth.
- Creative mindset with the ability to maintain brand consistency and identity across diverse platforms.
You will be working from the LIEWOOD head office in Copenhagen and report to the Head of Design.
