The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing the company's technical systems to ensure seamless operations and optimal employee performance. The role involves close collaboration with the IT team to drive the development, integration, and operation of the IT landscape.

The IT Specialist embraces end-to-end ownership of digital solutions, focusing on long-term operational efficiency, scalability, and technical innovation.

Principal Accountabilities
End user computing

• Take responsibility for the processes around Asset management

• Ensure that processes are followed in changes in end user devices, and mitigate any incidents caused by changes.

• Support the business in how to work with best with their end user devices

Network

• Perform architectural reviews of technical solutions and ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Update technical documentation to reflect changes in system configurations and settings.

• Support implementation of new IT systems, general optimisation and delivery of hands-on technical/digital solutions in the systems

Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration

• Prepare materials for and participate in meetings with external providers, reviewing proposals and ensuring requirements are met.

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

• Continuous Improvement and Support

• Support governance and "go live" phases for new solutions, ensuring readiness and operational stability.

• Ad hoc IT-related tasks, analysis and evaluation

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree in Information Management, IT Architect, Software developer, Data Engineer/Scientist or similar

• Preferably experience from a similar role

• Skilled Project participant and experience in working in IT projects

• Solid experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Dynamics

• Solid Experience with the ITIL framework.

• Analytical skills, being able to map, identify and develop digital solutions in accordance with business strategy and needs as well as technical and digital development

• Thorough understanding of IT business processes and general business know-how
