We are a global engineering company offering highly specialized engineering consultancy services, helping clients design, build and improve complex systems, products and projects. With experience in Life Science – within pharma and medical device development – DIS/CREADIS provides expertise in meeting the challenges that our clients face.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to act as the Safety Lead on projects, from development projects to machinery implementation in an existing production line. Working alongside the rest of the project team, you'll help contribute to the culture and structure around machine safety and secure machine design. Ensuring best practices are followed and compliance is upheld within machinery and ATEX safety.

As a Safety Engineer, you'll be working in cross-disciplinary teams all dedicated to contributing to a safe working environment in the pharma industry. Here you'll be working with areas such as:

  • Safety of machinery and process equipment.
  • Commissioning of Machinery and Process Equipment.
  • Safety legislation and regulatory aspects.
  • Safety and risk management.
  • Risk assessment and hazardous areas with flammables liquids and dust assessments.
  • Hazardous area classification (ATEX) and explosion barriers and documentation.
  • Safety solutions in complex installations with explosive atmospheres.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical educational background such as, Marine Engineer, Engineer, Electrician or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in similar role.
  • Solid experience in machinery safety, the machinery and ATEX directives and harmonized standards.
  • A self-starter who is highly driven and works well independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Enjoys knowledge sharing and collaborating in teams.

Why should you consider joining DIS/CREADIS?

  • Innovation: Come work with us, offering first-class solutions to our prestigious clients on their innovative projects.
  • Feel appreciated: Join a company who sees and hears their employees. An organization where we celebrate both individual and team contributions and develop our employees both personally and professionally.
  • Flexibility: We offer a healthy work/life balance and everyday flexibility.
  • Community: As a new employee, we want you to feel welcome and part of the team. We offer the opportunity to join our community and collectively share knowledge. You will also be included in our "buddy program," where one of your colleagues will be your go-to person in the first months of your employment.

  • Social Activities: We are passionate about what we do, and our colleagues. We offer many social events during the year outside of the usual (and there is no pressure to join), such as a trip to a theme park, mini golf tournament, drive-in cinema as well as sports related events.

What sets you apart

You are proactive, independent, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. You are passionate about your work, and you stay updated on technical advancements to deliver high-quality and professional results. You are a strong communicator, and you build productive relationships with clients and colleagues while adapting to change with ease.
