  • Lead the ERP rewrite: Spearhead the migration of our ERP system from vanilla PHP to Laravel, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with the operations and finance team to understand their workflows and challenges, ensuring the ERP system supports and enhances their daily tasks.
  • Bridge the gap between business and technology: Take ownership of converting complex business processes into clear system requirements and effective technical solutions.
  • Data tasks in MySQL: Investigate data quality issues and implement improvements to ensure the system functions as intended and supports future solutions.
  • Enhance system functionality: Design and implement new features, ensuring the ERP system evolves with the needs of the business.
  • Facilitate seamless integration: Ensure the ERP system integrates effectively with other business tools and applications.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive, business-minded developer who excels at translating complex requirements into practical solutions and enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Experience and mindset:

  • Proven experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL, with the ability to investigate data issues and design improvements.
  • Experience with Blade templates and Livewire (or similar tools) for dynamic and interactive web applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems, either as a user or developer, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze business processes and convert them into system requirements.
  • Comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to identify pain points and deliver impactful solutions.
  • A proven track record of taking ownership of projects, driving them from conception to completion.

Technical skills:

  • Expertise in Laravel's advanced features (e.g., Eloquent, queues, event broadcasting).
  • Proficiency in designing and querying relational databases.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of integrating third-party APIs and tools.
  • Strong understanding of Git and modern development workflows.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
