We are looking for a dedicated Paid Search Specialist (possibly Lead Paid Search Specialist) to join our growing Performance Marketing team to realize best-in-class Performance Marketing at SHAPING NEW TOMORROW.

Lead growth and optimize ROI as our new Paid Search Specialist
In the role of Paid Search Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and enhancing ROI for our Paid Search activities, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Shopping. You will be the driver of different projects, working closely together with the team and different stakeholders to accelerate growth and meet ever-changing best practices within Paid Search and Performance Marketing.

Some of your key tasks will involve:

  • Driving strategic Paid Search projects
    • Developing Google Shopping & Pmax, including CSS, with Google Partners & Affiliates across a variety of markets.
    • Collaborate with the team lead to ensure best practice account setup and sustainable long-term growth.
    • Owning test-and-learn framework to lead the evolution of the channel, focusing on KPI-driven A/B testing (e.g., landing pages, account setup, further utilization of DSAs, automatization, scripts, etc.), analyzing results, and implementing findings.
    • Scale up current markets and enhance the testing framework for new market entries.
    • Identify and communicate relevant trends or developments in Paid Search and market/industry developments.
  • Operational campaign management
    • Regularly optimize campaigns, ad copies, and keywords, as well as testing different bidding targets.
    • Challenge and refine account setup based on market trends and performance results, as well as manage and optimize the Google Shopping feed to stand out.
    • Preparing and delivering reports.
  • Interim bonus task - Coordinating DV360 inventory: Internal consulting on improving Programmatic assets (YouTube ads, HTML5 & Native banners) and support on asset briefing to the Creative team, asset delivery to agency, and asset analysis + iteration.

To succeed in the role of Paid Search Specialist, you will become the driver of all Paid Search tasks and markets, contribute to increasing the revenue or ROI on Paid Search activities, and ensure the improvement of Paid Search through activations, implementations, and tests.

The position is based in Aalborg.

An experienced and analytical mindset
Experience:

  • 5+ years of working experience in Paid Search on either agency or client side, ideally with experience in an international E-Commerce environment. (Depending on your experience, the role could possibly be Lead Paid Search Specialist).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • Experience with Programmatic and DSPs is a plus.
  • Good understanding and some experience with SEO is also a plus.

Technical skills:

  • Extensive experience managing Google Ads accounts towards ROI goals and a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Successfully managed Search, GDN, and YouTube campaigns.
  • Good understanding of conversion tracking systems, Google Ads bidding strategies, and Quality Score variables.
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar data management tools (e.g. Google Sheets).
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools like Asana or Monday.
  • Familiarity working with Looker Studio dashboards, PowerBI, or other Data visualization tools.

  • Have an analytical mind, commercial savviness, and an understanding of what information is driving business decisions.
  • Are confident in managing large marketing budgets and delivering against ROI targets.
  • Can collaborate cross-functionally and utilize synergies across various departments.
  • Have the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.
  • Are self-organized, highly structured, and motivated.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment as well as a highly performance-driven team setup.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills - fluency in English is a prerequisite. Fluency in German/Danish is a plus.

The position is based at our main office in Aalborg, which houses 70 Shapers from different departments. While the position is based at the HQ, we are flexible when it comes to working remotely, which allows you to work from your home office when you need it. However, we also offer up to 60 days of workcation as part of our benefits program - which means that you can work remotely from anywhere in Europe
