Are you ready to take your financial expertise to the next level? We are seeking a Business Controller to manage financial operations across Southeast European countries and our subsidiary in Istanbul, Turkey. Based in Aarhus, Denmark, you will play a vital role in driving data-driven financial processes and ensuring compliance across borders.

Support global operations and help optimize key financial processes

As our new Business Controller, you will become a vital member of our experienced Finance team, contributing significantly to the continued development of the Finance department. Our Finance team consists of highly professional and dedicated finance professionals, who strive to deliver the best possible service to our global stakeholders. The diversity in our team's educational backgrounds and nationalities drives innovation and high-quality problem-solving. With the use of cutting-edge technology, we support the business best possible and ensure operational excellence on a global scale.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Managing financial activities for the Turkish/Southeast European subsidiary and other entities.
  • Maintaining relationships with local financial institutions as needed.
  • Supporting gross profit controlling using data-driven processes.
  • Preparing and quality-assuring financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Coordinating and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax, VAT, and dividend regulations, including transfer pricing.
  • Optimizing financial processes and improving systems for efficiency and data quality.
Develop your skills in a fast-paced, international environment

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with a deep understanding of financial operations across borders. You should be motivated by solving complex problems and continuously improving processes.

We imagine that you:
  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Are fluent in Turkish and proficient in English.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role or audit firm.
  • Possess advanced skills in Excel; knowledge of PowerBI and SQL will be a plus.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing your workload independently.
  • Are familiar with tax, dividend, and VAT handling in the EU and Turkey (advantage).
  • Have experience with data-driven controlling and optimizing financial processes (advantage).
