Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team, consisting of construction project managers and technology specialists.
  • Manage and drive a diverse construction project portfolio in the whole LEGO headquarters.
  • Responsible for the CAPEX budget ensuring month-to-month follow up with Finance.
  • Engage in frequent dialogues with key stakeholders e.g., Factory and department leads, IFM partners, and vendors.
  • Ensure implementation of strategic and tactical sustainability initiatives to meet our ambitious 2032 CO2 reduction target.
  • Take the lead and proactively own and plan the tactical and operational direction with the rest of the Workplace Solutions & Operations Billund Leadership team ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

You will join the Facility Management Billund team, in a dynamic, inclusive, and diverse environment. We are one of seven local facility departments in the Workplace Solutions and Operations global organization. We play a vital part in delivering stable operations to the factory and the administrative buildings at our headquarters in Billund.

As part of Workplace Solutions and Operations, Facility Management BLL has an operational support function for the site in Billund. The main scope of responsibilities consists of both Hard services, Integrated Facility Management (CBRE contract), and execution of local projects. Within Hard services, the major focus is on maintenance and operation of all technologies supporting production and offices. The scope of local projects consists of upgrading existing offices and upgrading existing technologies ensuring the best conditions for employees in BLL.

Do you have what it takes?

We imagine that you have experience from a similar role and have a Bachelor of Architectural Technology and Construction Management or similar with a comprehensive understanding of the construction environment. You thrive in and contribute best to a collaborative team setting.

The daily work-life can at times seem hectic; however, your strong analytical skills, structured and pragmatic approach to task solving will be the foundation that ensures your success in this role. Moreover, we expect you to have:

  • Project and portfolio management knowledge preferably within construction or similar experience.
  • A handful of years of hands-on experience within leadership and project portfolio management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Experience with handling budgets and having a solid economic understanding.
  • Advanced project management experience.
  • Great general software skills, AutoCAD, Revit, Office 365, DALUX, and other software (or quick to learn).
  • Strong proficiency in Danish and English, both oral and written.

The position is based in Billund, DK, and relocation support is not offered for this role.
