Would you like to oversee day-to-day operation of the Launch Team, actively direct the team to provide continuous training support and be the single point of contact for the Training Project lead for planning work and resources? Then join us as our new Launch Team Leader

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global PE Blades > Assembly Training & Launch

Assembly Launch and Execution is a fresh, newly created department, under PE. We aim to fulfill all kind of training needs within the projects, and we are focusing in:

  1. New Product Introduction Projects
  2. Transfer Projects
  3. Develop our Instructors around the all the Assembly Factories
  4. Standardize our methodologies

Responsibilities

  1. Accountable for safe working of the Launch team members for the assigned projects.
  2. Oversee day-to-day operation of the Launch Team, actively manage the team to provide continuous training support and be the single point of contact for the Training Project lead for planning work and resources, delegation of Instructor tasks and team deadlines.
  3. Track and review deliverables from the team and participate in Training Meetings as required.
  4. Ensure effective communications to Launch Team Instructors.
  5. Develop and maintain Project training material and ensure its recorded into DMS and training manual.
  6. Develop, drive, and maintain the training standards within the Project.
  7. Work effectively with other departments that support the manufacturing process such as maintenance and stockroom/customer service.

Qualifications

  1. A base of ECM processes in Vestas.
  2. A base of ERP System: SAP knowledge at Technical Support level, Understanding of documents, tooling and Vestas process, Mechanic, electrical and Hydraulic knowledge.
  3. Excel: data base handling.
  4. Others: Power Point, Visio, Microsoft Project.
  5. English written and spoken on high level.

  1. Able to conduct regular One to One meeting with launch team Instructors for the duration of the project.
  2. Able to listen and motivate team members, Coach and Mentor new/existing members of the Launch Team.
  3. Able to set clear team goals.
  4. Able to create a friendly working environment that inspires the team.
  5. Able to conduct training of team members to maximize their potential.
  6. Actively display managerial courage by proactively addressing issues and conflicts.
  7. Able to listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.

Location: Ringkøbing or Lindø, DK
Up to 90 travel days will be required per year.
