Er du Playdeads nye studentermedhjælper indenfor finans, økonomi og salg?

Playdead er et uafhængigt spilstudie, der er kendt for at producere computerspil af høj kvalitet. Virksomheden har udgivet de anmelderroste og prisvindende spil LIMBO og INSIDE, og vi arbejder i øjeblikket på vores næste store projekt.

Virksomheden består af mere end 75 kreative, højt specialiserede spiludviklere, med en bred vifte af erfaring og kompetencer.

Playdead har brug for en dygtig studentermedhjælper til blandt andet at hjælpe med at udføre økonomi- og salgsanalyser. Du kommer til at arbejde sammen med dygtige kollegaer, som du lærer meget af, men du vil også hurtigt få en høj grad af ansvar og selvstændighed i dit arbejde. Arbejdstiden er ca. 15 timer om ugen.

Arbejdsopgaverne omfatter bl.a.:

  • Ansvar for at hente og konsolidere data fra vores digitale salgsplatforme, som fx Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation Store, Apple App Store
  • Bidrage til at lave salgsanalyser og forecasting, samt præsentere dine resultater
  • Være en del af den løbende proces med at vedligeholde og optimere LIMBO og INSIDE på digitale stores
  • Bidrage til at opdatere og videreudvikle vores omkostnings- og cash-flow modeller

Derudover vil diverse ad hoc opgaver medføre stor afveksling i dine opgaver, samt behov for at du sætter dig ind i nye opgaver. Du vil helt naturligt komme tæt på beslutningsgangen i Playdead.

Din profil

  • Du er 1-2 år henne i din uddannelse på enten CBS (HA.alm, HA.mat, HA.it og lignende) eller KU (fx. polit)
  • Du har stærke kompetencer i excel og måske også et eller flere analyseværktøjer
  • Du har stærke analytiske evner
  • Du finder det udfordrende at kombinere teknologi, kreativitet og forretning
  • Du er i stand til at arbejde selvstændigt og metodisk
  • Kendskab til programmeringssprog, f.eks. Python, vil være en fordel.

Der vil blive rig mulighed for at anvende din teoretiske viden i praktisk problemløsning. Har du også en passion for computerspil, er det klart et plus, men ikke en nødvendighed.

Are you Playdead's new Student Business Analyst?

Playdead is an independent games studio known for producing two award-winning games, LIMBO and INSIDE. Both have received critical acclaim from critics and fans worldwide.

Today, we are more than 75 employees with a wide range of creative and business backgrounds.

We are searching for a skilled student assistant to help us conduct financial, economic and sales analysis. You will be given high responsibility, independence, and skilled colleagues to work with and learn from.

Working hours will be approx. 15 hours per week in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What will you be doing?

  • Retrieve and consolidate data from our digital sales platforms (Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation Store, Apple App Store etc.) to carry out sales analysis and forecasting, and present your findings
  • Be part of the ongoing process of maintaining and optimising LIMBO and INSIDE on digital stores
  • Contribute to updating and further developing our cost and cash-flow models
  • Various ad hoc tasks depending on the day-to-day requirements of the team to help the decision-making process at Playdead

Who are you?

  • You are currently a student in Denmark and you have completed 1-2 years of your education (HA.alm, HA.mat, HA.it or similar)
  • Strong understanding of Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • You have an interest in technology, business and the creative industry
  • You are excited about applying your theoretical knowledge to real-world problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python would be an advantage
  • A passion for computer games is also an advantage but not a requirement
