Microsoft D365 F&SCM Senior Functional Consultant

HCL Tech's Microsoft Business Applications Practice - (MBAP) is seeking a Microsoft D365 F&SCM Senior Functional Consultant to join our award-winning and growing team in Denmark.

The ideal candidate will have worked on multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM projects with experience in Finance, Procurement & Sales, and will have good knowledge of implementation life cycles from end-to-end. You will be a confident communicator and a good co-ordinator whilst being able to engage stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. You should also have experience of managing teams of Consultants, and will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Take ownership of all aspects of Financial Management module, working with the business stakeholders and successful delivery of the programme.
2. Assist with kick-offs, requirement gathering and knowledge transfer sessions; evaluate the client business processes and provide Business requirement document.
3. Analyse client requirements and objectives, suggest Business Re-Engineering processes, eliminate non-value addition processes and derive how best the software can address clients' business process.
4. Perform Fit-gap analysis, convert requirements to functional specs and functional design documents.
5. Configure and showcase Financial Management processes/systems as to how the solution meets client business requirements like Chart of Accounts, Consolidation of Accounts, Financial Reporting per Business unit/department, Exchange Rates, Intercompany Accounting, Ledger Accruals and Allocations, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management.
6. Should have experience in handling SIT, End user training, UAT and Go Live.
7. Should have experience in data migration activities and approach for it.
8. Mentor other consultants in delivering according to client expectations; take ownership and deliver successful completion of projects including documents, user manuals.
9. Participate in the development of functional design documentation and technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans, perform SIT testing.
10. Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, including the ability to drive a client to decisions.
11. Conduct functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during the implementation process.
12. Test and deploy Microsoft Dynamics system; including executing the pilot/implementation/deployment of new requirements or enhancements to the Workday application and integration support.
13. Ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to customers.
14. Work with customer to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.

Skills Required

1. Extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX2012/Dynamics 365 F&SCM Implementations.
2. Experience on at least 3 end to end implementation projects and awareness of typical implementation methodologies for Dynamics projects.
3. Experienced in Finance, Procurement and Sales - (Non-stock Procurement, Services, Catalogues).
4. Proven understanding of and primary responsibility for solutions in Financial and Project Management Accounting and also multi-country and multi-currency AX implementations in Dynamics 365 F&O or other AX versions.
5. Expertise knowledge & experience on Asset Management (Production), Fixed Assets, AP/AR, General Ledger, Supply chain, Taxation, Project accounting and Audit.
6. Excellent communication skills along with good analysis and documentation skills.
7. A positive and can-do approach.
8. Experience working in a collaborative environment.
9. Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
10. Ability to work remotely and on customer site; some travel expected.
11. Experience using DevOps for tracking deliverables, risks, and issues.
12. Have led a team to deliver a project module solution and deliverable.
