As a growing, international company with an ambitious strategy and a vibrant workplace culture, ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel is looking for an Automation & Digitalization Engineer to join our Headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark.

The Automation & Digitalization Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Andritz automation and digitalization solutions remotely or on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute Automation or digitalization projects.
2. Ensure timely and complete technical delivery of AD projects, including but not limited to Power, Electrical, Instrumentation, controls, and digitalization engineering based on individual competencies and business needs.
3. Participate in preparation and review of Automation related technical specifications, drawings, documents, configuration, and implementation of AD projects.
4. Provide customer technical support onsite and remotely.
5. Participate in installation and commissioning of Power, Electrical, Controls, instrumentation, and digitalization on site based on individual competency and business needs.
6. Work with a team, following project management and technical leads.
7. Process Data Analysis for determination of causes of process variability and issues.
8. Identify opportunities and propose solutions for enhancement of ANDRITZ FBAD deliveries.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and digitalization for customers.
10. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed automation projects.
11. Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems to ensure reliability and performance.
12. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
13. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate automation solutions with existing digital systems.
14. Provide training and technical support to end-users on automated processes and digital tools.
15. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to automation and digitalization.
16. Work and liaise with customers, ANDRITZ FB and ANDRITZ team members for delivering projects.

Who are we looking for?

Technical Skills (knowledge)

1. Degree or diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
2. Registered, or eligible for registration, with professional engineering designations.
3. Knowledge of power, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and digitalization.
4. Basic knowledge of process industries.
5. Minimum three (3) years' experience in automation, electrical, power, or digitalization engineering.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).

5. 3 years of relevant working experience in Feed and BioFuel/equivalent process industry and Automation Solutions.
6. Specific Feed and Biofuel Know How (by education and experience).

SCHOOL EDUCATION

1. Minimum: Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering related to Automation/IT/Process.
2. Desirable: Automation, electrical, power, Process control engineering.

OTHER REQUISITES

1. Considerable travel activities worldwide.
