We are on the lookout for a passionate and creative Associate UX Designer (Student Worker) to join our cross-office Technology and Data Department and play a key role in enhancing the user experience of our digital marketing platform, Alvie. The role is located in Aarhus, where you will work closely with the Head of Product, Jonas, and collaborate with our product and development teams.

The department consists of an interdisciplinary group of developers, data engineers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists. Together, we aim to develop cutting-edge technology products that empower our internal digital marketing teams and clients to optimise their marketing efforts and achieve their business objectives.

As an Associate UX Designer, you will have the opportunity to work with our extensively built design system, based on the Atomic Design principle, in Figma. You will utilise existing components to improve current user flows and create new, smaller flows in collaboration with our product and dev teams. This role is ideal for a junior designer who is eager to learn and grow in a supportive and innovative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand user needs and project requirements.
• Utilise our Atomic Design-based design system in Figma to enhance existing user flows and create new, smaller flows.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma that align with our design system and project goals.
• Maintain and update the design system documentation.
• Support the product team in ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across Alvie.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree programme (e.g., UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field) in Aarhus.
• Basic understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with design tools, particularly Figma.
• Knowledge of Atomic Design principles is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
