The job position
With a strong ambition to further accelerate our profitable growth, we are now looking for an additional Casualty Underwriter to our Commercial Lines underwriting team in Copenhagen – a team of 21 highly skilled and motivated underwriting professionals.
The role is based in Copenhagen and will focus on our Danish and Norwegian markets; however, as part of the Nordic Underwriting Team, you will work closely with colleagues across the Nordic countries in all our business segments.

In the role as Casualty Underwriter, Major Accounts your key focus will be:
- Underwriting of complex risks, both new and renewal business, within General and Products Liability, Recall, and Contaminated Products Insurance with a focus on multinational programs.
- Meet Risk Managers and their brokers to promote the Chubb Major Account value proposition for all Lines of Business.
- Participate in the continued professional development of the Casualty underwriting team.
The Casualty underwriting team in Copenhagen will consist of six underwriters, of which two will focus on the Major Account segment.
You will also become a part of our cross-line Major Account underwriting team – a team that will include underwriters from Property, Financial Lines, Construction, Accident & Health, and Casualty – a total of 7 underwriters. You will report to Frederik Lindbo Hansen – Head of Major Accounts & Underwriter Property, Denmark & Norway.

- Support the Casualty underwriting team on a daily basis.
- Support product development within the Casualty area to improve client retention and new business.
