We are looking for a skilled candidate to oversee our partner-based server infrastructure.

About the role
As a Technical Domain Manager (TDM), you will be responsible for managing all vendor-run servers that are part of the Nuuday IT infrastructure landscape.
Nuuday is currently in the process of transitioning from a common on-premise server setup to an operating model primarily run by partners.
The position entails coordinating with these vendors to maintain server operations, and ensuring that documentation, processes, and standards are consistently updated. Additionally, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management for the servers.
You will coordinate these tasks across multiple managed service providers within each area of the hosting infrastructure.
You will act as primary technical liaison for the server area for any projects or systems and ensure that these adhere to Nuuday standards and practices.
Initially, the responsibility spans across all servers in the Nuuday IT landscape, but as more servers are onboarded in this new partner-based operating model, we expect the role to get more specialized with time, and to narrow scope to only parts of the portfolio, e.g. Linux- or Windows-based infrastructure.

You will be expected to:

  • Collaborate closely with other TDMs in the infrastructure area to drive security, rationalization, performance, and quality efforts across the server portfolio
  • Participate in projects that implement new server infrastructure
  • Update and implement processes for the server infrastructure area together with specialists in our IT Service Management department
  • Continually review and improve SLAs in the server area
  • Maintain the server area roadmap
  • Provide input to financial processes
  • Cooperate closely with the Security department on all security aspects
  • Ensure vendor collaboration within the server area
  • Have broad knowledge of servers, virtualization, and Windows- and Linux operating systems

About the department
Cloud and Containers Center of Excellence is a department within Infrastructure and Operations, that manages the Nuuday cloud engagements in Azure, AWS and private clouds. We are responsible for ensuring effective use of all of our cloud platforms.
