We are looking for experienced and motivated developers to join our engineering team of engaged full-stack developers with the end-to-end responsibility of building and operating our SaaS-based compliance management platform.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a frontend engineer with a focus on React and Typescript. The role is part of a team of full stack engineers, and involves end-to-end development of new product features, from concept to deployment. We also expect you to play a key part in refining our frontend architecture and development practices.

You'll report to the Head of Engineering and work in close collaboration with other developers, product management and design.

We're an ambitious scale-up SaaS company listed on Nasdaq First North, providing an easy-to-use compliance management platform to larger organizations. In essence, we are here to increase trust and transparency.

The Impero platform enables companies to easily manage compliance through risk and control management, documentation, and reporting.

What would be your key responsibilities?Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Develop solutions that deliver customer value every release cycle: You will be responsible for implementing features and improvements.
  2. Write well-crafted, safe, and maintainable code: Your role involves producing high-quality code that adheres to best practices in security and maintainability, contributing to the long-term stability and reliability of our platform.
  3. Contribute to the flow of work in the team: You will actively participate in team processes, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. This includes engaging in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving as well as collaborating with UX and PM to shape good solutions.
  4. Proactively address technical debt: Identifying and resolving areas of the codebase that require refactoring or improvement will be a key part of your role, helping to maintain a clean and efficient codebase.
  5. Continuously improve our technology and how we work: Your role includes staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, advocating for and implementing improvements to both our technology stack and our development processes.
Your essential skills and experience
  • Experience: You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in frontend web development.
  • Background: Familiarity with working in a cross-functional agile environment.
  • Technology Stack: Our web application is based on Rust, React, Typescript, and C# hosted on Azure. We expect you to have a robust track record with React and Typescript, and in particular:
    • Strong understanding of React and its core principles (component, state, hooks, props, …)
    • Good understanding of Typescript and type system concepts.
    • Preferred: Experience with data fetching and caching and query libraries (for example TanStack Query)
  • Desirable Experience: Background in start-up environments and enterprise product development is a plus.
Location

Denmark (on-site) at our office in Aarhus or Copenhagen.
