Get an idea of the role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role within our cross-functional Commercial team, working closely alongside Cloud and Platform Engineers, as well as a Cybersecurity specialist.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and monitoring of the AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure it is operating optimally, efficiently and patched against known vulnerabilities.
- Deploy and configure cloud services such as EC2, EKS, storage, databases, and networking.
- Troubleshoot issues in the cloud infrastructure, ranging from service downtime to security breaches, ensuring seamless operations.
- Streamlining deployment processes and scaling of cloud-based applications through effective automation.
- Taking part in the ambulatory emergency service (every 5-6th week).
Skills & Experience
We believe that you have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure such as EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, EC2, RabbitMQ, ElastiCache, VPC, CloudTrail, and Secret Manager.
- Solid understanding of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, coupled with knowledge of CI/CD principles is a must-have.
- Experience with provisioning the infrastructure & configuration management deployment tools like Crossplane, Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with networking concepts as well as monitoring and logging tools.
On a personal level, we believe that you take ownership of your work and are a proactive communicator that enjoys collaborating effectively with team members.
