Electrical Project Engineer for DISA Industries
Do you have an electrical background and experience in designing and implementing electrical systems? We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join DISAs Engineering team in Taastrup, Denmark, to support the successful delivery of electrical systems for total foundry line projects in Europe and Turkey.
You take the leadAs an Electrical Project Engineer at DISA, you will take the lead in the design, documentation, and installation of electrical systems for foundry line projects, ensuring their safe, reliable, and efficient performance throughout their lifetime. You will closely supervise electrical installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all systems meet technical specifications during project delivery. In addition, you will assess electrical quotations in collaboration with the sales team on retrofit contracts and plant projects, ensuring everything aligns with project requirements.
Travelling activityAs an Electrical Project Engineer, you will travel around 60-80 days a year within Denmark, Europe, and Turkey for project start-up and commissioning. Travel typically involves short trips (1-2 days), with occasional longer stays (up to a week). You will work closely with your team, project managers, and the service team, on the projects, and you will also be assisted on your travels, to ensure smooth execution and successful integration.

Key Responsibilities:- Design electrical systems and ensure documentation for total foundry line projects.
- Supervise the installation of electrical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical equipment and control systems.
- Conduct diagnostic checks and maintain electrical systems such as PLCs (Siemens).
- Communicate project status and equipment performance to the Project Manager.
- Perform upgrades and ensure electrical systems operate as required.
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of work performed.
- Work closely with a small team and report to the Site Manager located in Germany.
- A background as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Proficient in EPLAN and/or PCSCHEMATIC.
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of plant machinery processes, electrical systems, and their interrelationships.
- Experience with the operation, maintenance, and control of electrical and instrumentation systems specific to industrial plants.
- Proficient in written and spoken English (Danish is a plus).
- You have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You work in a structured and disciplined manner.
- You can handle multiple project management tasks alongside E-CAD responsibilities.
