We are looking for an Upstream Process Engineer to support our customers' need for handling design and qualification of upstream equipment for a green field facility.

Job description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Upstream Process Engineer to join our team. As part of the Alba Project Group, we expect you to act professionally, build trust with our customers, and deliver as agreed. Furthermore, you excel in stakeholder management, tactical and practical management of design, vendors, and qualification of equipment, while maintaining high professional standards. Most importantly, you understand the value of teamwork, sharing knowledge, and enjoying a good laugh at the office

Minimum Requirements:

  • You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience with process equipment design, vendor handling, and qualification (+5 years) with a track record of delivering strong results.
  • Able to understand scientific principles and GMP requirements for designing and qualifying pharmaceutical process equipment.
  • Solid reasoning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are self-motivated, results-oriented, and have the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • You are a strong communicator and can effectively sell your ideas.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; most vendors can be found in Europe.
