In this exciting role, you'll be our Product Procurement Manager for the Lifestyle team. You'll play a vital role in transforming our creative ideas into the amazing products that delight customers worldwide. Working closely with our Product and Category Managers, you'll manage a category-focused matrix, ensuring we source the best products at competitive prices.

Beyond category management, you'll also be responsible for:

  1. Building and Developing the Global Supplier Matrix:
    You'll be responsible for developing our global supplier network in your assigned categories, fostering strong relationships with existing vendors and identifying new ones to join the Flying Tiger family.
  2. Expert Negotiation and Cost Optimization:
    You'll manage the negotiation process for your categories, securing the best possible terms while maintaining high-quality standards.
  3. Strategic Sourcing Projects:
    You'll exercise sourcing projects for both new and existing products, utilizing your expertise to identify the best solutions through tender rounds and competitive bidding.
  4. Open Cost Sheet Implementation:
    Transparency is key You'll implement and utilize open cost sheets to ensure smooth and successful negotiations.
  5. Claims Management:
    You'll be responsible for handling claims and negotiations within your assigned categories, ensuring any sourcing issues are resolved efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail and buyer roles
  • Retail procurement experience within the home and leisure categories is a plus.
  • Proven negotiation skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must, and additional languages are a benefit.
