This is a new role within Frankly. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources to support our people and growth strategy. It is a stand-alone role and requires a proactive and pragmatic HR professional that is motivated by supporting an international talent base that is growing. You will be a trusted advisor to the Senior leadership team, able to interpret strategy and create relevant and effective processes that continue to foster a culture of growth, creativity, and engagement. And of course – a creative approach to problem-solving

Reports to: CFO

Location: On-site in Copenhagen, Denmark

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR plans and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Lead any change projects that emerge.
  2. Oversee and evolve the talent strategy to meet the growth ambitions. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent. Work with colleagues to develop Frankly as an Employer brand of choice.
  3. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and positive engagement.
  4. Design and implement a learning and development plan to ensure colleagues continue to develop and grow. Anticipate future skills needs and support succession planning.
  5. Oversee our HR System, ensuring it is maintained and up to date.
  6. Play a key role contributing to effective internal communication and engagement.
  7. Oversee and manage a competitive compensation and benefits program.
  8. Ensure HR policies are legally compliant.
  9. Support the Partners as a trusted HR advisor, ensuring they have the right HR data to make informed decisions with regard to HR initiatives and investment.
  10. Lead and oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Proven experience as Head of HR or in a similar HR leadership role, e.g. Senior HR Business Partner. HR Generalist with 3-5 years experience.
  2. Experience within the Danish labor market, particularly in relation to legislation, will be considered an advantage.
  3. Experience in supporting a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce.
  4. Experience of working within a client-facing consultancy or agency is ideal, although not essential.
  5. Excellent knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  6. Familiarity with European employment law and HR best practices would be considered an asset, though not a requirement.
  7. Strong professional HR leadership and organizational skills. You are comfortable with responsibility.
  8. Ability to interpret business strategy into effective HR plans and processes.
  9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to build strong relationships proactively across the business.
  10. Professional qualifications in HR, whether that be CIPD or equivalent.
  11. Experience of working within a growing business would be ideal. Entrepreneurial spirit, able to be strategic and hands-on in equal measure and be motivated to build the HR infrastructure to meet the growing need.
  12. A creative approach to problem-solving.
  13. Fluent English is essential.
