About The Role

Join us in shaping the future of maritime operations.

As Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient technical management of the two vessels on the OFC route during their transition period until delivery to new owners. Your focus will be on ensuring high reliability, strict compliance, and timely follow-up on improvement initiatives.

We seek a proactive and passionate Superintendent who is thorough, efficient, and responsible. This position demands high interaction with seafarers and various partners in the shipping industry, so you must enjoy travel and possess strong communication skills. You should be a team player capable of working independently on your tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently manage the technical aspects of the two vessels on the OFC route during the transition period, ensuring high reliability, compliance, and timely follow-up on improvement initiatives.
  • Engage with and lead senior management onboard, driving continuous improvements, motivation, and engagement.
  • Oversee financial planning and execution, including close monitoring of Daily Running Costs.
  • Analyze capital expenditures and project designs to implement the most efficient models.
  • Plan and ensure the timely execution of dockings, including planned improvement projects.
  • Continuously develop and refine operational methods to find efficient alternatives.

We expect you to have:

  • An educational background in a relevant field, such as Marine Engineering or Dual Officer training.
  • The ability to lead and engage a cross-functional team of experts.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a negotiation level.
  • Confidence in making difficult decisions and engaging in challenging situations.
  • Availability to travel 50-80 days per year, including longer periods during dockings or repairs.
  • Prior experience working onboard either the Crown or Pearl vessels is a strong advantage.
