The Position
As our Manager for Raw Material Supply Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of 15 dedicated Supply Managers and Quality Professionals within the RAW category, as well as fostering a climate of high well-being, people development, and innovation within your team and across related organizational departments.

Your key activities also include:

• Building and optimizing Novo Nordisk supply chain for all raw materials
• Engaging and optimizing supplier performance by structurally following up on supplier performance scorecards and business reviews
• Participating in driving and setting the direction for the category
• Collaborating closely with supply chain stakeholders from sourcing and planning teams to effectively deliver agreed projects to completion
• Thinking end-to-end and ensuring strong collaboration with the purchase planning team and sourcing

Besides leading the supply management team, you will also join a dedicated and ambitious management team, reporting to the Director of Inbound Supply Management. Your role will involve close collaboration with peers to drive the department's success and development.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine you:

• Hold a Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or another relevant field
• Demonstrate proven experience as a people leader who builds trust, drives engagement, and ensures team well-being
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience across a complex organisation
• Showcase strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Display fluency in both spoken and written English

It would be considered a strong advantage if you have APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD), along with Sigma Belt and/or project management certification.

As a person, you possess solid stakeholder management and communication skills and are known for your authenticity and empathy. As a natural people leader, you excel at coaching and guiding others in a complex, global stakeholder landscape. Your strong interpersonal skills help you to set challenging goals and challenge the status quo. Lastly, you demonstrate a high degree of independence, taking initiative to question existing practices and drive innovative improvements.

About the Department
Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consists of 550 employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.
