As a financial analyst, you will have a high level of quality reporting and analysis towards HQ and Management. The role sits within the Financial Controlling and Reporting team as part of the finance team in TEPDK and will be expected as a cross-functional position assisting Finance on a digital journey in implementing new tools and systems, based in Esbjerg.

Here are the main missions for this position:

  1. Engaging with the Finance team and the business to ensure that appropriate models and tools are developed and implemented to support decision analysis.
  2. Generate and validate the reporting for Galaxy and CAP.
  3. Generate and validate Galyz (analysis submitted for HQ).
  4. Prepare the KPI report for HQ and Management (including analysis and commentary).
  5. Ensure reporting is aligned with Group requirements (Total Finance manual and CREPACS).

1/ Performance Management:

  • Prepare financial reporting that's properly validated and analyzed to ensure high-quality monthly reporting and PDC/Budget.
  • KPI reporting and analysis for Management to present for HQ Management is a key element of the monthly submissions comparing the budget for the year with the latest financial statements, HSE, and production statistics.

2/ Management of Information and Insights:

  • Perform variance analysis on financial and production information comparing forecasts, budget for actual data for both Partner and Equity books.
  • Support the monthly reporting process with timely and accurate analysis.

3/ Driving Decisions:

  • Ensure that the capabilities, tools, techniques, and models that enable finance to influence are in place.
  • Support the Finance Team in general to move forward on a digital journey to be more effective and ensure appropriate quality controls.

The position will be a transverse position and will provide a great opportunity to learn the objectives and ways of working across all finance teams.

Candidate Profile
  • Master's degree in Finance, ideally in Corporate Finance.
Technical Skills
  • Previous experience in Corporate Finance would be a plus.
  • Capacity to work with deadlines.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills with potential for Power BI.
  • Experience with Essbase and SAP.
Languages
  • French: B2.
