Project Manager for automated robotics solutions

Do you want to play a key role in shaping the future of innovative robotics solutions for the construction industry? Would you like to be part of a fast growing company that enhances safety, efficiency, and sustainability in large-scale construction projects worldwide? If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about technology and structured project management, GMT Robotics in Brøndby has an exciting opportunity for you.

About GMT Robotics

GMT Robotics is a market leader in developing and producing automated robotic solutions for the concrete reinforcement industry. With the support of a strong investor, we deliver advanced robotic systems for manufacturing prefabricated reinforcement structures utilizing 3D vision technology. Our modular solutions have been successfully implemented in major construction projects around the world, and they have been approved for the prestigious The Line project in Saudi Arabia.

Our headquarters in Brøndby offer spacious facilities for developing and testing large-scale automated reinforcement solutions. These technologies drive efficiency, precision, and safety in large concrete construction projects, reducing both costs and risks.

Your role as Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing delivery projects from initiation to completion at customer site, ensuring that all aspects progress smoothly and efficiently. You will also ensure the effective use of project management tools, drawing on your expertise to optimize workflows and resource allocation. In addition, you will do planning and resource management, making sure that projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

A natural part of your role will be to stay updated on technical developments and gain insight into the solutions and specifications required for each project. Collaboration across teams and departments will be essential, and you will actively contribute to fostering a strong, cooperative work environment.

You will work in the intersection between engineering and production to make sure that the project runs smoothly. You will face day-to-day challenges and address them to secure timely delivery and describe new solutions to enable higher quality products or optimize the production price. You will be leading the change requests between the project and engineering as they rely on improvement to take the robotic solutions to the next stage.

Your background and skills

We are looking for a candidate with a background in engineering or marine engineering, and with technical experience in fields like robotics, automation, machinery, mechanics, or electrical systems. We imagine you have several years of experience as a project manager, preferably with a certification, and a solid understanding of project management tools.

To succeed in this role, you should have a good understanding of both technical and financial aspects, enabling you to make well-informed decisions that benefit both the company and the customer. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, the management team, and external partners are crucial. Additionally, a results-driven attitude, a structured work approach, and the ability to take initiative when challenges arise.

What GMT Robotics offers you

Based on 35+ years of experience within rebar machine manufacturing and selling, GMT Robotics was established in its current form in 2020. In 2024, a major investment secured a strong financial foundation for future growth. This has allowed us to scale up production to meet increasing customer demand, and continue developing the next generation of robotic solutions.

We offer an informal, inclusive, and supportive work environment where innovation and collaboration are highly valued. Our production, administration, and development center are based in Brøndby, and we have a department in Serbia.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in an ambitious company that is making a real impact on the construction industry. At GMT Robotics, we believe that a fulfilling career should go hand in hand with a healthy and balanced life. That's why we offer flexibility in the job, health insurance, opportunities for further education, and a lunch arrangement. The amount of travelling in the job can be adjusted to what is possible for you and how much you like to travel.
