Develop Privacy & AI Compliance initiatives
At Norlys A/S, our Commercial Law and Procurement department is fueled by collaboration between experienced experts and proactive talents. Compliance in Privacy & AI is in focus in our rapidly evolving organization, requiring us to adapt strategically and work collectively. We value teamwork and believe in fostering a supportive environment where autonomy is balanced with accountability.
You will be the go-to person in this area, and it is essential that you align with our values: community, responsibility and innovative thinking, because we believe that wellbeing, competence and performance go hand in hand.
Ensure adherence to regulations
As Compliance Specialist you will be the primary contact person within procurement related to Privacy & AI. In this role, you will be a crucial part in our efforts to ensure adherence to existing laws and standards, acting as a bridge between our Sourcing team and Norlys' specialist functions, including Cyber and Operational Security & the Privacy & AI Compliance department under Legal, Regulatory & Compliance (LRC).
Your role in the department will be crucial in ensuring that we comply with current legislation, ESG and Contract Vendor Management (CVM) standards, implementing the best compliance practices. Working with ESG and CVM, you will be responsible for driving the development of processes that support compliance within Privacy and AI guidelines.
The job involves a key position in gathering knowledge from various parts of the organization to define and update compliance obligations, incorporate requirements into supplier contracts and assist in negotiations. You will also coordinate with compliance specialists at a higher level and assist sourcing in negotiations and requirement approvals in line with compliance risk assessments.
Your key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with intern and extern stakeholders to ensure the best possible compliance and coordination with Compliance Specialists.
- Integrate requirements into supplier contracts and be responsible for compliance obligations.
- Assist Sourcing-team in negotiations and requirement approvals and approve negotiated requirements based on compliance risk screenings.
- Update compliance risk assessments and conduct analyses in collaboration with Business Owners and Subject Matter Experts.
- Proactive communication with suppliers regarding compliance obligations and perform database lookups such as financial, ESG, and sanctions.
- Monitor compliance obligations at a high level and coordinate the execution of audits.
- Oversee compliance obligations and act as an accountability owner on strategic commitments.
Bridge-builder between Procurement and Privacy & AI
We imagine you have relevant education, such as Cand. Jur, Cand. Merc Jur, or equivalent experience, with a strong interest and experience in Privacy & AI compliance. Your proficiency in compliance should be extensive, with demonstrated knowledge in the Privacy & AI fields. As a person you like structure and handle tasks autonomously and can oversee complex assignments effectively.
As a strong bridge-builder, you facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders through effective relationship-building. Being communicative and empathetic, you know how to build appropriate relationships with stakeholders and suppliers in a business context, creating an environment of trust and collaboration.
Skills and abilities we are looking for:
- Proficient in compliance with extensive knowledge of Privacy & AI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and professional sparring at all levels.
- Open and trustworthy with a structured, analytical, and fact-based working pattern.
- Ambitious with the ability to thrive at all organizational levels.
- Result-oriented and skilled at articulating yourself across various levels in both Danish and English at a negotiation level.
Are you ready to drive compliance?
Are you motivated to take on challenges within Privacy & AI compliance in Procurement, with an ability to influence and optimize processes? Please send us your application and CV through our online recruitment system as soon as possible. You decide whether your application and CV should be in English or Danish, we do not differentiate.
Embracing diversity as a driving force, we encourage all qualified candidates, irrespective of background, to seize this opportunity. Once the ideal candidate is identified, the job listing will be removed.
We look forward to hearing from you
