You will join our IT Architecture & Technology Governance department in Global IT
As our new Enterprise Architect, you will play a global strategic role working both with IT and the business functions where you will discuss and propose strategic initiatives and introduce governance to mature how we support the business functions with the best possible tools. Your work will help improve and grow our tech-enabled consultancy business through better decision-making. You will be part of a growing global team currently in Denmark and India. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the work on the overall technology strategy and roadmaps for Global IT and business.
  • Work with all stakeholders in IT to define our target state architecture, technology strategy, and the roadmap of initiatives needed to get us there.
  • Organize application portfolio assessments together with the business partner and business owners.
  • Assist in running our IT Architecture Board where all new technology choices must be approved, and our approved technology list is maintained.
  • Define overall governance for IT in Ramboll, both on Strategic & Tactical level while also ensuring we have all the right Operational governance in place.
  • Assist in identifying technology debt and perform risk evaluations.
  • Conduct regular meetings with major technology providers for monitoring future technology to potentially add to our landscape, including writing trend reports and discussing technology advances with stakeholders.
  • Participate in negotiations with major technology vendors.
  • Support us in staying relevant by regularly evaluating existing and upcoming enterprise architecture best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. in Computer Science or similar).
  • 5+ years of experience working professionally with enterprise architecture.
  • Several years of experience working in an international environment/organization.
  • Proven track record in assisting in defining target state technology architecture overviews for both applications/systems and infrastructure.

  • The ability to understand and navigate a complex, relationship-based matrix organization to achieve key objectives.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially being able to explain IT subjects in a way that is simple and easy to understand for business stakeholders.
