Marketing and Communications Specialist (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist (Maternity Cover) to join our Global Marketing team for a year, ideally starting in March/April 2025.

The Role

RelyOn is on an exciting transformational journey and therefore looking to strengthen the global marketing team further.

As Marketing and Communications Specialist (Maternity Cover) at RelyOn, you will play a crucial role in helping develop and execute our marketing campaigns, and will be involved in all steps of the process, from content creation to paid sponsoring, to continuous campaign monitoring and optimization.

It is important to note that we are looking for a more rounded marketing professional rather than a specialist, although don't be discouraged to apply if you are the latter as long as you are willing to learn and be involved in a variety of marketing activities.

You will be part of a small team based in Copenhagen leading the digital marketing agenda at RelyOn, but you will also work closely with our regional marketing teams to ensure the success of the initiatives across the board.

You will work out of our Head Office in Copenhagen, and the position will require that you work 37 hours per week between 8h00 and 17h00 on business days. We have an in-office working culture. Requests to work from home can be made if external situations require it.

We will interview candidates on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Marketing:
    • Develop and manage high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including our website, newsletters, social media, and email campaigns.
    • Create and implement content strategies that align with our brand voice and objectives to attract and retain our target audience.
  2. Social Media Management and Analysis:
    • Manage and schedule content across social media platforms to ensure consistent engagement and brand visibility.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with regional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and marketing initiatives across different markets.
    • Partner with sales and other internal teams to create materials and strategies that support business objectives. It would be ideal if you are familiar with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  4. Event Organization:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including coordinating logistics, managing vendors, and supporting regional teams.
    • Ensure events are effectively promoted through appropriate channels and follow up with post-event reporting and analysis.
  5. Marketing Administrative Support:
    • Provide support in creating and maintaining marketing and sales collateral, including presentations, brochures, and other materials.
    • Assist with ad-hoc marketing projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Fluent in both spoken and written English with strong communication abilities.
  • Marketing Enthusiast: A keen interest in digital and content marketing, with a willingness to stay updated on the latest trends.
  • Learning Attitude: Eager to learn and grow within the role, with a proactive approach to self-development.
  • Communication & Creativity: Strong writing skills paired with creative thinking to produce engaging content.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly disciplined in managing and following up on tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing content and ensuring accuracy.
  • Technical Savvy: Familiarity with content management systems, CRM systems (experience with Salesforce is preferred), and design tools (experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus but not required).
  • Educational Background: Preferably holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education, however.
  • Team Collaboration: A cooperative team player with the ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
