Welcome to Getinge and our Ethics and Compliance team We are looking for you who want to play a vital role in enabling and supporting Getinge and its leaders in managing risks and shaping the way business is conducted. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation and management of Getinge's Ethics and Compliance Programs across the Nordics, UK & Ireland (UKI), and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

As a regional Ethics & Compliance (E&C) leader, you will work in alignment with the respective global program owner within the E&C team to implement initiatives covering key areas such as responsible leadership, interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations, anti-bribery and corruption, antitrust/fair competition, data privacy, trade compliance, and human rights.

This position places a strong emphasis on healthcare compliance and distributor due diligence within the region.

You will provide Ethics & Compliance support to Managing Directors, as well as Sales, Marketing, and other business units, ensuring employees are educated and aligned with the company's Ethics & Compliance programs, policies, and responsibilities. Close collaboration with the Legal team will be essential.

What you will do

  1. Develop and deliver relevant and timely Ethics & Compliance training and education to stakeholders, including participation in national and regional sales meetings, conventions, new hire orientations, etc.
  2. Understand, implement, and supervise any national transparency reporting requirements for the European countries.
  3. Provide proactive Ethics & Compliance support to the business.
  4. Advocate responsible leadership within the Nordics, UKI, and CEE region.
  5. Assist the Global Internal Investigations function regarding local matters.

This position is based remotely in any of our locations within the region and includes international/regional traveling.

You will bring

  1. Master of Law, LL.M, M.Sc. or other relevant academic degree. Professional certifications in Compliance (such as CCEP, CIA, etc.) are preferred.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of relevant E&C work experience in a global setting.
  3. Experience in the MedTech industry is preferred.
  4. Strong ability to analyze and interpret laws and regulations, and to develop practical solutions to Compliance challenges.
  5. Experience in the relevant regions is preferred.
