Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark CSIS Security Group AS Full time

Are you passionate about cyber security and would you like to make a difference in the fight against cybercrime? Is flexibility and work-life balance important for you, and do you want a job with possibilities to grow? We are looking for an ambitious Security Engineer, who will thrive in an inspiring international environment.

What we offer
The Security Engineering team is growing. We are currently a team of 4 and hope to welcome 1-2 new colleagues soon. Our team culture can be described as engaged, international, inclusive, and respectful. We love what we do and have fun while we do it. Ulrik, one of your future Security Engineer colleagues describes it like this:

I have a lot of varied tasks on my table, so I don't have the same things to do every day. I really like that. I also enjoy the culture at CSIS, which is very social. I joined our Social Committee where I get to help organize a lot of great social events for our colleagues. I guess that it would be difficult to find a company that offers the same culture and work-life balance as CSIS.

In the Security Engineering team, we ensure the optimal technical set-up for our new and existing customers, who benefit from our 24/7 MDR services. As a Security Engineer in our team, you get to:

  • Define and implement technical delivery plans of XDR, NDR, and SIEM solutions
  • Project manage customer cases and ensure structured planning and focused delivery of technology-based MDR services.
  • Document feedback and lessons learned from customer engagements
  • Support the sales team with opportunity qualification and scoping.
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert to proposals and tender procedures.
  • Attend customer meetings during sales and delivery processes.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of vendor solutions in alignment with the company's strategy.
  • Develop SIEM configurations, use cases, and operational models or specific security solutions to meet customers' requirements.
  • Present security solutions to leadership and technical teams
  • Lead and assess risks imposed by technical solutions and advise customers in relation to security standards, best practices, etc. on SIEM, XDR, and NDR solutions.

You will become part of a growing market-leading Cyber Security company with the most committed colleagues you could dream of. We take pride in making a positive impact on the planet and the people on it. In addition, of course, we have:

  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home
  • Pension scheme, health insurance, and dental insurance
  • 5 weeks of vacation + 5 floating vacation days (feriefridage)
  • Delicious, healthy, and varied lunch scheme (including vegetarian and vegan options)
  • Time and resources for continuous learning
  • Free phone and home internet
  • Lots of social events

About you
The most important thing for us is that you are motivated to learn and inspire others, to give feedback and generally take pride in your work.

You will match the position well if you can say yes to several of the following:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Information Security and 3+ years with SIEM solutions
  • Academic degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Desirable certifications: Microsoft AZ-500, MS-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, Darktrace Certified Engineer or Analyst, (ISC)2 CISSP, CCSP
  • Architectural design and implementation of Microsoft Sentinel SIEM solution
  • Microsoft Defender product family design and implementation
  • Writing complex use cases and rules for multiple SIEM solutions
  • Knowledge in other technical areas such as networks, firewalls, NDR, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, SOAR systems, cloud security, OT/ICS security.
  • Architectural knowledge of enterprise environments
  • Supporting policy, procedures, and practices required to deliver and maintain an effective operational SIEM solution
