Do you have a strategic and analytical mindset? Do you possess a proactive and outgoing attitude and thrive in a data-driven decision-making environment? We are now looking for a new talented colleague to be part of our Commercial Apparel team reporting to the Category Director of Apparel.

You will be part of the Apparel Management Team as main priority, but at the same time have some tasks for our Commercial Development team that offers in-house consultancy support within and across Salling Group's buying organization including our three largest Brands such as Netto, føtex and Bilka. That to ensure all relevant processes are utilized and to give a broader network in Salling Group for further development opportunities.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  1. Be project lead on the Apparel Strategy and help on the execution part.
  2. Lead the various key projects in the Apparel department.
  3. Analyzing and optimizing customer experience from a data-driven perspective.
  4. Communicating insights, results, and recommendations to senior decision-makers in the management team.
  5. Help the management team in relation to both range strategy and price strategy to optimize our business.
  6. Assist the Apparel Group Vice President.

Your skills and background:

  1. You have a Master's degree within business or economics (e.g. cand.oecon, cand.merc, cand.scient or the like). Preferably, you have a couple of years of experience as a consultant or in a similar role, where you have acquired the necessary skills to succeed as a consultant. Alternatively, you may compensate for your lack of experience by being a top-performer and by having relevant experience in a student job during your studies.
  2. As you will interact with many stakeholders in the organization, you must have personal presence and the ability to present your points convincingly. You are curious by nature and possess an eagerness to take on a very steep learning curve. Finally, you should have a 'self-starter attitude' and can independently focus, see opportunities, and invite yourself to the table.
  3. You have a passion for what you do which benefits your surroundings and you like working in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Lastly, you are fluent in Danish & English both written and spoken. You also have above-average IT skills – particularly in Excel and PowerPoint – and enjoy working with complex data and problem-solving.
