Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Follow-up PO acknowledgement, delivery status and solve delivery problems and schedule changes.
  • Create, Implement, and Improve key performance metrics such as on-time delivery, savings against budget, year-over-year deflation, payment terms, cost of failure and delays.
  • Utilize Lean methodologies to improve proposal process.
  • Develop reports, analyse spend and apply sourcing and procurement methodologies to identify opportunities for cost-reduction and cash flows improvements.
  • Resolve contractual and supplier disputes where they occur, protecting the interests of the business and engaging legal Business Partners where required.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop knowledge of key business drivers, their customers, sales territory, product lines, markets and sales and tendering processes.

Most decisions fall within a defined framework, but within those guidelines the successful candidate will have a degree of autonomy in the final deal.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in business, supply chain, related areas.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial sourcing, procurement, supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Desired Characteristics
  • Solid M/S office skills including excel formulas, v-look up and pivot table knowledge.

  • Understanding of financials and P&L impact of sourcing decisions.
  • Fluency in English and Danish is a must.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is desirable but not necessary.

Desired Characteristics
The role will involve occasional travel within Denmark and overseas, and we are therefore looking for an individual who is able to work unsupervised, and to manage and prioritise their own workload.

Often working to tight deadlines, the successful candidate will be able to engage with and to influence diverse stakeholders across the business to ensure their deadlines are met.

As a service organisation, the availability of spare parts and components is vital to all areas of the business and the successful candidate should be able to develop relationships and influence across all functions.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are therefore necessary to develop an understanding of the business's needs, to clearly communicate GE's requirements to suppliers, and to ensure internal stakeholders are kept up to date with supplier delivery times, costs etc.

Benefits
In return GE offers a package including competitive salary, a flexible benefits package including private health insurance.
