We are looking for an exceptional individual to contribute to VIKING´s continued success by ensuring the flawless performance for our 100,000+ products and services across the world. In this role, you'll apply your excellent experience to further develop VIKING's performance ensuring we maintain our best-in-class status within the sector.

More specifically, the role will focus on the robust introduction of new products with close cooperation with our Design departments as well as ensuring continuous development of our Supplier Quality Management.

The position as Quality Assurance Expert, Manufacturing is based at VIKING's office in Jiangyin City, China. You will report directly to the Global QHSE Manager, located at headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Working with a capable and dedicated Global QHSE team to further develop and implement the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborating closely with VIKING's Global QHSE management team to transform business needs and strategy into global quality standards.
  • Utilising best practices while being open to evolving methods, tools, and processes.
  • Engaging directly with suppliers and other external partners as needed.
  • Implementing and developing the introduction of new products and supplier quality management in regards to our production sites in China.

This position is full-time and may include up to 50 international travel days a year.

Your background and necessary skills
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience from a similar position within a large global organization and knowledge within the maritime, automotive, energy, or similar industry.

To succeed in the role, you should have strong experience with ISO standards, APQP-PPAP, SQM, and more.

Other than that:

  • A very solid theoretical background relevant to the position.
  • A successful track record of developing, delivering, and implementing QHSE performance.
  • Identification with VIKING's values and mission.

You should be able to express yourself fluently in English. Knowledge of Chinese and/or local dialect is strongly preferred.
