Your Role: Make an Impact

Procurement is a part of the Group Procurement department responsible for supplier relationships with key suppliers, contract management & negotiations, projects and processes relating to our supply chain and sourcing.

You will ensure procurement quality throughout our direct and indirect category spend from the supply base, and by providing support and knowledge to our business.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with many stakeholders – both internally and externally – whom you actively approach and engage with to enhance our procurement footprint. You will also support our business units internationally, so 15-20 days of business travel annually should be expected.

You will be leading the efforts on category management, reporting directly to the Head of Group Procurement, and you will be based in our office in Hellerup.

Your Profile

We're looking for a Procurement Manager who thrives in a global, collaborative environment and can bring operational and technical expertise to the team.

To succeed in this role, you bring/are
  • A commercial university degree with a few years of experience from a similar role within shipping.
  • A proven track record from several disciplines within procurement.
  • Knowledge of the operational side of procurement i.e. purchasing and logistics, making sure that the strategic side meets with the operational needs.
  • A detail-orientated approach to decision-making whilst maintaining an overview of the big picture.
  • A technical background within shipping would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
