For the Hardware Platform teams located primarily in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a person to take a key role in testing the network and server solutions for our SCADA platform used globally in all SGRE Plants.

How to contribute to our vision

As an Infrastructure SCADA Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and security of the underlying infrastructure supporting Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. You will lead testing efforts for Infrastructure Hardware components, develop test plans, execute test cases, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks. Your role will involve working with complex network and server architectures, virtualization platforms, and cybersecurity measures to ensure the robustness and performance of SCADA infrastructure.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:

• Define test objectives, scope, and methodologies ensuring thorough coverage of infrastructure reliability.
• Oversee the execution of various tests, including functional, performance, penetration, and vulnerability testing, focusing on infrastructure functionality, performance, and security within SCADA systems.
• Follow the organization's test strategy and work closely with other quality advocates within the company.

Test Automation and Tool Development:

• Drive the development and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools customized for SCADA infrastructure testing.
• Develop automated test scripts, streamline testing processes, enhance efficiency, and improve test coverage through automation.

Infrastructure Integration Testing:

• Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity specialists to conduct integration testing of infrastructure components within SCADA systems.
• Ensure seamless interoperability and compatibility between infrastructure elements, identifying and resolving integration issues.

Defect Management and Continuous Improvement:

• Identify, document, and track infrastructure defects throughout the testing lifecycle, prioritizing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure testing processes, methodologies, and tools, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Knowledge about SAFe ways of working would be an added advantage.

Your Qualifications:

• Proven experience in testing infrastructure components, preferably in the field of industrial automation or SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of network architectures, server technologies, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to SCADA infrastructure testing (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, IEC 62443) is desirable.
