Financial Controller

Their groundbreaking technology has provided the fastest and highest-quality rendering of its kind for over 20 years and continues to lead the industry today. The product's stunning accuracy and speed reshaped and redefined the entire 3D design industry, empowering an entire category within product design. Additionally, their product enables customers to produce fewer physical prototypes, resulting in less waste and promoting sustainability.

They are looking for a highly detail-oriented and proficient Financial Controller to ensure the integrity of their financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role is heavily focused on financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process optimization, without direct management responsibilities.

You will report to the Group Finance Manager and for you to be successful in this role it depends on close collaboration with the other team members in Finance and cross-functional. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial controlling, accounting standards, and risk management, with a meticulous approach to financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Ensure timely and precise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis, financial reconciliations, and ensure data accuracy in all financial records.
• Oversee the collection, validation, and maintenance of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support external and internal audit processes by preparing necessary documentation, addressing queries, and ensuring compliance with audit findings.
• Monitor compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and corporate financial policies.
• Implement and maintain financial control policies, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance financial reporting quality, process efficiency, and system improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and policies.
• Process monthly payroll runs and manage international payroll through our Employer of Record provider.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferred.
• 4 years of experience in financial controlling or audit.
• Strong technical expertise in financial reporting and internal controls.
• Highly proficient in Excel, with the ability to analyze complex financial data, create advanced reports, and optimize processes.
• Must be tech-savvy and comfortable working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of financial compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex financial data with accuracy.
• Experience working in audit-prepared environments and handling complex reconciliations.
