The Scope of your role
As our Head of Platform & Infrastructure, you will be leading teams responsible for site reliability engineering, the developer experience and the internal platform and tooling. Working closely with your peers responsible for product development, you will lead your area, setting the strategic direction in alignment with the product strategy and ensuring that product teams are enabled and empowered to do their work, while you are also contributing towards setting the bar for technical excellence.

Your team
You will be part of an engineering leadership team and work with teams located mainly in Denmark, Romania and Portugal. We all meet up physically at least once a year and you will have opportunities to travel to the various locations to meet with teams, but you are expected to be comfortable with managing and working with remote colleagues, and be able to communicate and troubleshoot via online communication.

We respect that we do not all follow the same daily rhythm, but we also enjoy pairing up and huddling on a regular basis, often mobilizing several people during incidents.

We accept that incidents happen, but we demand that we learn from them and we do not accept finger pointing or scapegoating. We foster and nurture an environment of psychological safety, where teamwork and collaboration is key

  • 3-4 years of experience in SRE / DevOps roles or 5-7 years in a developer role
  • 1-2 years of experience as a leader of leaders, or 4-5 years as a leader
  • Proficiency in English
  • Enjoys collaborating and communicating
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Comfortable with making and selling unpopular decisions
  • Previous experience with one of the major Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Solid experience with any of the following and an interest in the others - the value in brackets is the tech we're currently using:
    • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
    • Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions)
    • Continuous Delivery (ArgoCD, Spinnaker, Packer)
    • Developer Experience / Tooling (Cake, Makefiles)

1. Initial screening
Have a chat with Hanne, our Talent Acquisition Partner, for us to learn a bit more about you, for about 30 min.

2. First interview
Meet Jacob Nielsen, our Director of Engineering and one of your future employees. This interview will be around 90 minutes. You'll receive a case beforehand, which you'll be expected to present. We anticipate the preparation time to be about 4 hours.

3. Second interview
Dive deeper into the role together with Christian Wook, our CPO, and Jacob, where you'll explore various topics related to the role, with a focus on your leadership perspective. Prior to this interview, you'll complete a 25-minute personality test. You'll receive feedback on the test at the end of this interview, and we'll discuss it together with Jacob and Ingrid, People Business Partner for the Products department. This interview will be around 60 minutes.

4. Third interview
This will be the final interview, where you'll meet two more people from the teams you're going to lead. .. following that, we look forward to welcoming you on board
