The position

As a Deployment Lead at Novo Nordisk, you will be end-to-end responsible for deployment and project execution of MES solutions across the respective SVP area. You will handle detailed solution deployment planning, preparation, set-up, readiness, and cutover activities. Your work will be to manage the LoB and IT stakeholders and multiple vendors to prepare users for, conduct, and manage a phased solution deployment for the customer.

Additionally, you will:

  • Act as a Portfolio Manager of several MES deployments strategically and operationally manage end-to-end area responsibilities from G1-G5 being responsible for deployments deliverables.
  • Coach and mentor project managers, solution architects and other deployments members based best practice following our MES SEM (Standard execution model).
  • Ensure good stakeholder management towards LoB and relevant partners areas for MES deployments by keeping them updated, supporting conflict resolution and problem solving for challenges regarding MES deployments.
  • Ensure all required deployment functions are anchored, regularly monitored, and roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
  • Manage cross-release dependencies in terms of resource optimisation.
  • Report and support the Deployment Manager for reporting and governance of deployments.
  • Ensure new teams and team members are requested timely.
  • Be budget responsible for the area, act on escalations and impediments.
  • Ensure clear scope for every deployment project.
  • Report and monitor benefits for projects.

Qualifications

We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven track record as IT Programme Manager and Project Manager.
  • Deep knowledge of PAS-X or other IT projects implementations preferred.
  • Knowledge of PMI/PMP project model, Novo Nordisk PEM Model or alike.
  • Large-scale transformation experience in IT and pharma industries preferred.
  • Leadership, coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.

About the department

The department, MES CoE is anchored in DD&IT Product Supply and is focused on implementing MES - a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), used across Novo Nordisk. We set the strategic direction and ensure that processes across production lines are automated and optimized.

The team is primarily located in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark and works hand-in-hand with our Product Supply colleagues, meaning that you will get to work closely with the users and technologies that drive our global manufacturing processes to the next level. The team itself is very diverse both in terms of capabilities and background, with roles spanning from project managers, product owners, SCRUM masters, architects to hands-on MES analysts.
